Privacy Policy

This site is run by Dreamwell Collective. We keep it simple and collect as little as we can. This page explains what is collected when you visit, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@dreamwell.team.

The short version

We do not sell your data or run advertising. The only optional tracking is Google Analytics, and it does not load at all unless you click OK on the cookie notice. You can decline, or change your choice later, using Cookie settings in the footer.

What we collect, and why

Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This relies on cookies and a measurement script from Google. We enable IP anonymization. Nothing loads and no analytics cookies are set until you click OK.

When you email us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to carry on the conversation.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs such as IP address, request time, and browser type for security and reliability. These are not used to profile you.

Fonts. We load typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which means your IP address is shared with Google for that purpose. See Google's policies linked below.

Cookies and local storage

• Your theme and consent choice are stored in your browser's local storage so the site can remember light or dark mode and whether you accepted analytics. These never leave your device.
• Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set only after you accept analytics, and are used to measure site usage.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working for basic server logs. Where the CCPA applies, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.

How long we keep data

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings, typically a limited number of months. Emails you send are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our records. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

Who we share with

We share data only with the services that make the site run: Google (Analytics and Fonts) and our hosting provider. We do not sell personal data. These providers may process data in the United States, so your information may be transferred and processed outside your country.

Your choices and rights

• Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or decline analytics, or change your choice later.
• You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you.
• You can withdraw consent at any time by opening Cookie settings and choosing Decline, or by emailing us. Declining has no effect on the rest of the site.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
